حصل جنود بريطانيون مسلمون على جوائز تقديرية لمشاركتهم وأدائهم المتميّز في مسابقة لحفظ القرآن في المملكة العربية السعودية.
نصر المجالي: شاركت المملكة المتحدة في مسابقة الأمير سلطان الدولية في حفظ القرآن الكريم للعسكريين في المملكة العربية السعودية، يوم 28 كانون الأول (ديسمبر) 2014 واستمرت خمسة أيام، وذلك بجنديين مسلمين أرسلتهما وزارة الدفاع البريطانية.
وقال الإمام عاصم حافظ، المستشار الإسلامي لوزارة الدفاع البريطانية وأول إمام مسلم في القوات المسلحة، إن مسابقة حفظ القرآن في المملكة العربية السعودية "كانت ناجحة جدا، وأداء المشاركين من القوات المسلحة البريطانية كان على مستوى عال مما جعل بريطانيا فخورة بهم".
وقال الشيخ حافظ "رغم أنهم لم يفوزوا بجائزة رئيسية هذه السنة، إلا أنهم نالوا احتراما كبيرا وتم منحهم جائزة تقديرا لجهودهم". وقد حصل الجنود البريطانيون المسلمون على جوائز ترضية تقديرا لأدائهم الاستثنائي في حفظ القرآن.
وأضاف حافظ كانت مفاجأة سارة بالنسبة لجميع الوفود المشاركة عندما عرفوا أن القوات المسلحة البريطانية كانت قادرة على المنافسة في هذه المسابقة الدينية".
وأعرب عن شعوره بالسعادة لأن المنظمين طلبوا من وفد المملكة المتحدة الإشراف على العديد من الإجراءات خلال أسبوع المسابقة، كما شكر الشيخ عاصم المملكة العربية السعودية على كرم الضيافة وإقامتها هذا الحدث العسكري الدولي المثمر.
يُذكر أن وزارة الدفاع البريطانية أطلقت منذ أشهر منتدى المسلمين في القوات المسلحة الأول من&نوعه في بريطانيا وذلك بالشراكة مع المجتمع المسلم في المملكة المتحدة.
ويعمل المنتدى على تعزيز الشراكة بين المسلمين في بريطانيا ووزارة الدفاع والقوات المسلحة، كما يهدف إلى تشجيع حوار أفضل، ويساعد في تسليط الضوء على الدور الهام الذي يلعبه المسلمون البريطانيون في القوات المسلحة سواء في الماضي أو في الوقت الحاضر.
يُشار إلى أن عدد المسلمين في القوات المسلحة بين 2009 و 2014 ارتفع بنسبة 20 %، وتظهر أحدث الأرقام وجود 600 مسلم في القوات المسلحة، بإمكانهم أداء الصلوات الخمس يومياً والصيام، كما يتم تزويد المسلمين بالطعام الحلال، وغرف للصلاة.
يُذكر أن القوات المسلحة البريطانية شاركت خلال العام 2013 بمسابقة الأمير سلطان الدولية السابعة لحفظ القرآن للعسكريين وكانت أول بلد غير إسلامي يشارك في هذه المسابقة آنذاك.

Iraqi Assyrian -Under the conditions the Region is going through, and the wars and terrorism engulfing the Area, I would have expected Saudi Arabia to conduct contests involving something other than religion. Unless attempts are made to change the mentality towards a secular nature, these violent conditions will persist.

نعمة العلم والتقدم -ليس لللأسلام اي نعمه في هذا الموضوع بل هي نعمة العلم والتقدم وحريات الأنسان على الأسلام ومن اين اتت نعمة الأسلام لو لا ان بريطانيا سمحت للجنود البريطانيين المسلمين لللأشتراك في هذه المسابقه لما استطاعوا هؤولاء من القدوم الى السعوديه والأشتراك في هذه المسابقة اذن هي نعمة العلم والتقدم والحريات الذين لاقيمة لللأديان عندهم بل يعتبرون ان هذه المسابقه لا تختلف عن اي مسابقة غنائيه او برنامج (آرب ايدول )وليس لللأسلام فيها لاناقة ولا جمل بل نعمة العقول التي لاتعترف بالأديان اصحوا الى عقولكم وكفوا عن سخافاتكم وانظروا لهذه الدول مثل بريطانيا وامريكا الى اي مراحل من التقدم وصلوا اليها بينما تركوكم انتم في مسابقات تجويد القرآن والذي سيمكنكم من الوصول الى الريخ

Saber Soliman -To Sir You never and ever will trusted in any country in the world serving as civilliane4 or as government ( Military, or Police, or any position you hold in . your histories tell us the true about you and in USA there are many many cassis proved that ( in Texas USA a major Hassan) he was A psychiatric doctor in the army he got his refill and shooting a soldiers/ army in the restaurant and he killed over 20 and injured many and many just because in his nasty eyes every person is not Muslim should kill and there are a lot of cases This is a reality . Do not stand and defending a terrorists, and criminals and fishes and an liars and killers ripest and robberies and you defend those basters and it seems like you are one of those killer we know you very will and I live with them and the last look in Iraq and particularly in ( al-Mosel and there is as I said thousands of cases to prove as Muslims you are you never serve in Europe or any civilians countries as and honest person and also look to 9/11 in USA do you want me say some more I rather you go and read the Histories of Muslims in a broad/ all over the world.. is that enough evidences to you or not m?
