إسلام آباد: تخلى النواب في باكستان عن التصويت على نص يحظر زواج الاطفال بعد ان وصفت المؤسسة الدينية الرئيسية في البلاد النص بأنه "تجديف" و"ضد الاسلام"، بحسب ما اعلنت مصادر سياسية لفرانس برس الجمعة.
والنص المقترح الذي من شأنه رفع الحد الادنى لسن الزواج من 16 إلى 18 عاما ويطلب عقوبات "قاسية" تصل الى السجن عامين بالنسبة لأولئك الذين يتزوجون من اطفال، كما هو حاصل في بعض مناطق باكستان.
وتقدمت النائبة مروة ميمون، من حزب الرابطة الاسلامية الحاكم حاليا، بنص لتعديل التشريعات في مجلس النواب، لكن تعين عليها سحبه بعد ان رفضته لجنة الشؤون الدينية في البرلمان، بحسب مصدر مقرب من الملف.
وكان ممثل عن مجلس العقيدة الاسلامية، المكلف تقديم النصح للبرلمان حول توافق القوانين مع الشريعة، وصف تعديل قانون زواج الاطفال بأنه "تجديف" خلال اجتماع اللجنة برلمانية حول المسالة.
واعربت ميمون عن رغبتها في "ابدال كلمة العقاب البسيط" للمتورطين في زواج الاطفال بـ "عقاب قاس" أو "السجن لعامين"، وفقا لمصدر برلماني. واضاف المصدر ايضا ان "ميمون ارادت رفع الحد الادنى لسن الزواج للفتيات من 16 عاما إلى 18 عاما".
وينص القانون حاليا على ان الحد الادنى للسن هو 16 عاما للاناث و 18 عاما للذكور لكن عددا من علماء الدين الباكستانيين يعتقدون ان هذا يتعارض مع الشريعة الاسلامية. ويؤكد العلماء ان الشريعة لا تحدد حدا ادنى لسن الفرد الذي بامكانه الزواج بمجرد وصوله الى سن البلوغ.
وانتقد المدافعون عن حقوق الانسان بشدة سحب مشروع القانون.
وقال الناشط عبد الرحمن لوكالة فرانس برس "من المؤسف أن اللجنة (البرلمانية) اتخذت قرارا بموجب ضغوط القرار الجائر لمجلس" العقيدة الاسلامية الذي وصفه بأنه "سخيف" وخطوة الى الوراء في جهود حماية حقوق الانسان في باكستان.
