اعلن نادي ستيل ازين الايراني انه طرد نجمه علي كريمي لعدم التزامه بالصوم خلال شهر رمضان.
واوضح النادي على موقعه على شبكة الانترنت انه "اضطر الى طرد علي كريمي لعدم التزامه بالصوم في رمضان"، مضيفا "ان كريمي شتم المسؤولين في الاتحاد الايراني للعبة والمشرف على فريق ستيل ازين الذي ابلغه بالامر".
وكان كريمي انتقد في مقابلة على موقعه الالكتروني اسلوب عمل المدير الاداري للنادي.
وكريمي (31 عاما) هو ثاني اللاعبين تمثيلا لمنتخب بلاده خلف علي دائي، كما انه ثالث هداف للمنتخب، وسبق له ان لعب في فريق بريسبوليس المحلي، والاهلي الاماراتي، وبايرن ميونيخ الالماني (سجل له اربعة اهداف في 50 مباراة) والخور القطري.
