كلينتون: قضية مساعدة اللاجئين تشكل تحديا عابرا

واشنطن:قالت وزيرة الخارجية الاميركية هيلاري كلينتون اليوم ان قضية مساعدة اللاجئين حول العالم تشكل "تحديا عابر للاوطان" يتجاوز السياسة والجغرافيا.
واضافت كلينتون في بيان بمناسبة يوم اللاجىء العالمي "ليس هناك رد انساني لكثير من مشاكل اللاجئين انه سؤال يتعلق بتحسين ادارة الحكم والمزيد من المساءلة والجهود السياسية والدبلوماسية والمصالحة والسلام ونمو الديمقراطيات والاقتصاديات لكن هذا لا يقوض باي شكل من الاشكال اهمية تلبية الاحتياجات اليومية لاولئك الذين شردوا بسبب النزاع والارهاب والكوارث الطبيعية".
وأكدت ان محنة اللاجئين حول العالم "قضية تتجاوز ليس فقط الجغرافيا والعرق بل السياسة والحزبية ايضا وتذكرنا اننا جميعا ضعفاء مهما كانت تبدو حياتنا مرفهة".
ومضت الى القول ان الولايات المتحدة هي "اكبر مصدر تمويل منفرد لدعم مساعدة اللاجئين وضحايا النزاع" في ظل توفيرها اكثر من 7ر1 مليار دولار العام الماضي منها 640 مليون لدعم مفوضية الامم المتحدة العليا لشؤون اللاجئين.
وقالت كلينتون "بالنسبة الى الولايات المتحدة كان هذا التزاما دائما لكن عملنا نيابة عن اللاجئين ليس نتيجة بعض الحسابات الاستراتيجية
الكبيرة فنحن لا نساعد لان هذا الامر يعزز قدرتنا على ممارسة سياسة القوة وتقدم مصالحنا الاقتصادية رغم انه على المدى الطويل يجعل امتنا اقوى ويسمح لنا بتشجيع المصالحة والاستقرار في مناطق اليأس نساعد لانه الامر الصحيح الذي ينبغي فعله".
