امتنعت الخارجية التركية اليوم عن التعليق على تصريحات لرئيس الادارة الكردية بشمالي العراق مسعود برزاني بشأن المطالبة بقيام دولة قومية للاكراد واكتفت بالتاكيد على احترام وحدة العراق.
انقرة: قال المتحدث باسم الخارجية التركية بوراق اوزغرغين في بيان صحافي "لم نستمع الى تصريحات برزاني بهذا الشأن..لكن نؤكد ان الموقف التركي حيال ضمان وحدة العراق وسلامة اراضيه لم يطرا عليه أي تغيير".
واضاف اوزغرغين انه في الوقت الذي تسعى فيه تركيا لتعزيز علاقاتها مع العراق فانها تؤكد احترامها للشؤون الداخلية لجارتها الجنوبية والتزامها مبدأ وحدة اراضيها.
وكان برزاني قد صرح في لقاء خاص مع قناة (او.تي.في) المصرية الاثنين الماضي بان "للامة الكردية حقا مشروعا في تشكيل دولة قومية اسوة بالقوميات الاخرى (العرب والترك والفرس)..والحقيقة تقول اننا لسنا بأقل من تلك الامم" معربا عن معارضته لاستخدام العنف لتحقيق مثل هذا الهدف.
واعرب عن الامل ان تتفهم تلك القوميات مستقبلا واقع الاكراد وان تساند ماسماه "حقهم المشروع " واكد بهذا الصدد رفضه للتطرف سواء من جانب الاكراد او القوميات الاخرى.
وتعتبر مسألة القومية الكردية من المسائل بالغة الحساسية لدى دول الجوار العراقي بخاصة تركيا التي تخوض صراعا داميا منذ 26 عاما مع المتمردين الاكراد الذين يسعون لاجل كيان قومي مستقل للغالبية الكردية بجنوبي البلاد.
وبرغم محاولاتها لتحسين العلاقات مع الادارة الكردية بشمالي العراق فان انقرة لا تخفي امتعاضها مما تصفه ب "التقاعس" من جانب هذه الادارة في التصدي للمتمردين الاكراد وتذهب احيانا الى اتهام اكراد العراق بالتعاطف مع المتمردين.
ولا توجد احصاءات دقيقة لعدد الاكراد الذين يتركز وجودهم في تركيا والعراق وايران وسوريا بيد ان اعدادهم تقدر ب 39 مليون نسمة معظمهم في تركيا حيث يعيش حوالي 20 مليون كردي ومناطقهم في الاجزاء الجنوبية والشرقية المتاخمة للعراق وسوريا وايران.

Jay -Turkey know well that South Kurdistan is not Cyprus ,however prime minister, Erdogan, described it with a straight face on his recent visit to Washington as a “tolerant” country, is vehemently against an “ethnic federation” even for the Kurds outside its borders --- or any Kurdish federation even if it were in Argentina--- even though its own name refers, by definition, to only one ethnic group, the Turks, and in actuality it recognizes only one ethnic group to the exclusion of all the others. “Happy is he who is born a Turk!”
